Vandercook Lake is right next door, so we're often setting up here for graduation open houses, family reunions, and neighborhood parties.
Jayhawk country, right next door
Vandercook Lake is just south of Jackson and only a few miles from our shop. Spring brings a string of open houses for Jayhawk grads, and summer is all cookouts and reunions. The shelters at the county park book up fast, and a tent in your own backyard means you never have to fight for one. The lake itself is part of the Grand River, and a lot of summer here happens right along its shore. A tent gives your guests a spot in the shade and somewhere to sit while the grill is going.

Do you deliver to Vandercook Lake?
Yes. Vandercook Lake is just south of Jackson, about 5 miles east of our shop, well inside our regular delivery area. We bring everything to your spot, set it up, and come back to take it down after your event.
What size tent do we need?
Plan on roughly 12 square feet per guest seated at tables, and less if people will be standing and mingling. Add room for a buffet, bar, or dance floor. Tell us your headcount and we'll confirm the size with a custom layout at no charge.
Can you set up in a backyard or on a lawn?
Yes. Backyards, farm fields, lake lots, and church lawns are most of what we do around Vandercook Lake. Send us the space you have in mind and we'll map out where the tent, tables, and chairs go before you book.
What happens if it rains?
The tent is the rain plan. We can add sidewalls to keep wind and weather out of the sides, and you can decide on them closer to the date once the forecast firms up.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date, especially for graduation season and summer weekends. A deposit holds your equipment, and we'll adjust quantities as your guest count firms up.
